She was married to the late William Bill Rumberg and was a life long member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Beam Funeral Service in Marion, NC with the reverends Gary Webb and David Bridges officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.A funeral service will take place on Monday, September 11, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Western Carolina Church, in Spruce Pine.
